Brilliant. Pretty much sums it up. I really dislike Australia Day. Having a Dutch-Germanic background, I am uncomfortable with zealous displays of nationalism, or any form of tribalism or mob mentality - even the kind you see at the football. It easily distorts into something quite evil.
